Greetings!
I am Kim Hye-soon, president of the Gyeonggi-do Women & Family Foundation (GWFF).
Since its establishment in 2005, the GWFF has taken the lead in achieving gender equality and family happiness in Gyeonggi-do
Through its sensitivity to social changes and preemptive responses to such changes, the GWFF has made meaningful achievements in diverse areas of policy research, projects, and education (e.g. gender equality, gender, childcare, family, children and youth).
To give Gyeonggi residents “more, equal, and better opportunities” in accordance with the vision of the current provincial administration, the GWFF will do its utmost to establish a comprehensive model for child and family care policies, effective response system for gender-based violence, educational system that fosters the proliferation of a gender-equal culture, and sustainable management system.
By educating our employees on the GWFF’s vision and goals and consistently developing policies tailored to the reality on the ground and residents’ actual needs, we hope to become a public institution for women and families that is representative of Korea.
