We provide target-specific gender sensitivity training and undertake target-specific gender sensitivity projects to improve public servant's ability to design gender-sensitive policies and raise public awareness of gender equality in Gyeonggi-do.

Gender sensitivity education

Gender sensitivity education has been offered since the GWFF was founded in 2005.
By providing target-specific gender sensitivity training, the Education & Policy Project Office hopes to make gender sensitivity policies more effective in tangible ways and, ultimately, contribute to gender mainstreaming in all areas of provincial affairs.

Key projects

  • Gender sensitivity training for public servants of Gyeonggi-do Office and cities/counties of Gyeonggi-do and employees of public organizations affiliated with Gyeonggi-do Office
  • Specialized programs (e.g. gender impact assessment, Woman Friendly City)

Expansion of gender equality awareness

We operate projects and educational programs that are open to participation by a wide range of citizens (e.g. children, teens, young adults, seniors) with the aim of creating a culture of gender equality in the everyday realm.

Key projects

  • Gender sensitivity classes for the general public
  • Lectures on gender and career selection and career counseling (youth, caregivers, employees of youth career exploration-related organizations)
